The falchion is a one-handed and single-edged sword with European origins, which design is similar to the Persian scimitar or the Chinese dao.

This weapon combines the weight and power of an axe with the versatility of a sword. Falchions appeared in various shapes and were used from the 11th century to the late 16th century.

This falchion features a heavy, blunt blade made of steel. The finely crafted, curved guard and the round pommel are made out of brass. The grip is wrapped in black leather.

The sword will be delivered with a leather sheath, which features a brass chape, mound fitting and carrying rings.
