Replica of a Merovingian throwing ax with hand ax blade made of steel.
Precursor of the Secular found already in the late Roman army use.
There are numerous finds from the Alemannic settlements, from the south of England, mainly in the Frankish kingdom of the Merovingians.
The cutting edge is already sharpened.

This axe blade is solidly crafted. We cannot, however, guarantee the quality of the shaft.
We recommend replacing it with an ash wood shaft.
