Replica of a gothic sallet of around 1495 AD.
The original is exhibited in Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and has been made by the German armourer Lorenz Helmschmied,  the armourer of the emporer Maximilian I.

The very special of this sallet is that the bevor is attached to the helmet. Bevor as well as visor are foldable and lockable.

There’s no incorporated liner, but delivery includes a padded cap. Nevertheless we suggest attaching an accurately fitting padding.

There’s a wire gauze in front of the viewing slot which can be removed without any problem, e.g. with a side cutter.
